Welcome to philippus.net. I bought the domain name in 1999 for the primary purpose of having the same email address for the rest of my life and no longer using my ISP's free email accounts. I used to just forward to whatever account I was using at the time, but Google has made their technology available for free and so now I use them for hosting email (and consequently this webpage).
